Description

Everybody knows that it's important to give compliments to our spouse.   Yet, rarely do we pause our busy daily routine to shower our spouse with attention, affection or appreciation.   Through 30 comic real life scenarios, couples associate each scenario with a different aspect of the art of complimenting.

Goal

Bingo Windows  will make you an expert in recognizing the windows our spouse open for us throughout the day to pay attention to them, and show them genuine appreciation and affection.

Inspiration

Adam, the most intelligent of all species, started fancying that just like God is unique in the heavens, he himself is unique on earth.   Eve was created, Rashi tells us, to remind Adam of his shortcomings.  Boy does she a good job!   To ensure that Adam doesn't view her as the negative nay sayer, she has a duty to affirm her husband.    Adam is also obligated to positively affirm his wife as we are told that Eve's desire for her husband's affirmations will sustain her.
These primal stories of our origin resonate throughout our day.  Rabbi Simcha Cohen created an encyclopedia on the different aspects of compliments, and Chapman's "Five Languages of Love" chapter on Positive Affirmation also inspired this game.
